Having been born in Gainsborough and working here for most of my professional life, I am delighted to be the new Principal of Trent Valley Academy.  Over the last few years I have been an integral part of the leadership team which has delivered the fantastic building and established the academy on its new site and I am proud of what we have achieved. The children of the area deserve a world class academy and we are working hard to make Trent Valley Academy the school of choice in the locality. Our results have improved each year since we opened in 2008 and we are confident that this will continue.

In order to deliver the best possible standard of education to our students I am determined that we forge even closer relationships with our partners, parents and carers, outside agencies, community groups and other academies in the E-ACT family.

We are committed to being a community resource and facilities such as our community theatre, fitness suite and variety of all-weather sporting areas are benefiting our local community as well as our students.

I am proud of what our young people go on to achieve and work hard to give them the best possible start. I look forward to working alongside you to raise the aspirations of our young people and transform their life chances.
