Pastoral Organisation

In 2009, non-teaching “Student Support Managers” who will be available full-time to support students and parents, will replace teaching Heads of Year. They will work alongside “Progress Leaders”, teachers who are specialists in overseeing students’ academic performance and designing strategies for intervention and support.

All teaching staff and appropriately trained support staff will act as “Progress Tutors”. As a result, tutor groups will be small, thus enabling intensive support to individual students as appropriate. treating everyone with courtesy and respect.
